Russia launches mass drone attack on Dnipro, killing two, two children among injured

Updated at 8:25 a.m.: The number of wounded rose to ten. Four people have been hospitalized, including two girls aged 9 and 14, reported the Dnipropetrovsk Military Administration.

A 13-story building was damaged, alongside a store, a car, an administrative building, and a building, that was not used, officials clarified. 

Russian drones attacked three districts in the oblast. A fire broke out in Kryvyi Rih causing damage to infrastructure.

More than 40 drones were shot down over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight, the regional military administration reported an hour earlier.

Updated at 2:45 a.m.: Several fires broke out following a Russian attack. A drone struck a high-rise building, causing a fire.

“The enemy is attacking Dnipro. Fires broke out in several districts of the city. Residential buildings were damaged,” local governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported.

“The air raid warning is still in effect. Remain in shelter until the all-clear is sounded.”

Russian occupiers attacked Dnipro and Odesa with drones on April 22.
