Wreckage from the 17th Russian drone that entered Polish airspace on Sept. 10, has been discovered in the village of Przymiarki, Biłgoraj County, in Lublin Voivodeship, RMF FM reported on Sept. 11, citing the Polish Interior Ministry.

Authorities say the area has been secured by police, and all emergency services have been notified.

Previously recovered drone debris were found in:

Lublin Voivodeship (bordering Ukraine): Czosnówka (Biała County), Cześniki (Zamość County), Wyrki (Włodawa County), Krzywowierzba-Kolonia (Parczew County), Wohyń (Radzyń County), Wielki Łan (Włodawa County), Zabloć-Kolonia (Biała County), Wyhalew (Parczew County), Bychawka Trzecia (Lublin County)

Łódź Voivodeship (about 400 km from Ukraine border): Mniszek (Opoczno County)

Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (bordering Russia): Olesno (Elbląg County)

Mazovian Voivodeship (incl. the capital of the country): near Rabiany and Sewerynów (Węgrów County), Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą (Grójec County)

Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship (central Poland): Czyżów (Busko County), Sobotka (Opatów County), Smyków (Kielce County)

Polish authorities data indicated that 19 Russian drones violated Polish airspace in  the overnight attack on Ukraine on Sept. 10. Four of them were reportedly shot down. The Ministry also confirmed finding debris from an unidentified missile.

One of the drones damaged a residential building in Wyrki-Wola (Lublin Voivodeship), but there were no casualties.

In response, Warsaw convened an emergency government meeting and ramped up security measures. NATO later activated Article 4, which calls for consultations among member states in the event of a threat to one of them.

Polish officials are confident that the incursion was deliberate, and the drones were not merely accidental strays.
