New damage to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure was recorded following a combined Russian strike, Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said on Oct. 30.

Restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows.

Hrynchuk added that, after the attack on energy infrastructure, measures to limit consumption have been introduced nationwide.

Ukrenergo reported that hourly outage schedules will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., for both households and industrial consumers.

On the night of Oct. 30, Russia carried out new massive combined strikes against Ukraine. Russia used Kinzhal and Kalibr missiles, cruise missiles launched from Tu aircraft, and Shahed drones.

Numerous explosions were heard in western oblasts — in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (including in Burshtyn), Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and other.

In Zaporizhzhya, a multi-storey dormitory lost several floors in the Russian strike; at least 11 people were injured, including six children aged 3 to 6.

In Dnipro, the enemy struck an industrial enterprise with a missile.

Emergency power outages were introduced across most oblasts of Ukraine after the new massive strike. Power-limitation schedules were imposed later.
