The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Central Research Institute conducted simulations showing that robotic systems in combat units can reduce personnel losses by up to 30%, the source explained.
This reduction has already been confirmed in front-line combat operations.
As an example, small robotic logistics platforms now handle logistics tasks over distances up to 5 km, providing food, ammunition, and supplies to soldiers and enabling remote evacuation of the wounded. This remote-controlled operation limits the enemy’s ability to inflict losses on Ukrainian forces.
Most military units are equipped with these technological advancements, and work is underway to encourage further innovation in this area, the NV interlocutor added.
