Updated at 12:07 p.m.: six people have been injured, including a 69-year-old woman who suffered an acute stress reaction. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said Russia hit the city with five KABs; the blast wave shattered windows in two apartment blocks.
"One impact struck a bus depot, damaging more than 20 vehicles," Terekhov reported an hour earlier.
"A second hit a civilian enterprise. One injured person has been hospitalized; firefighting continues."
"People may be trapped under the rubble," Terekhov warned.
Military administration reports indicates three people wounded as a result of the Kharkiv strikes. Inspections of the strike sites are ongoing.
Earlier reports indicated four enemy KAB hits, all in the Industrialnyi district. No information about injured persons had arrived at that time, local governor Oleh Synehubov said then.
Meanwhile, Mayor Terekhov said there was a hit on a civilian enterprise, and reported civilian casualties. Several cars were damaged and a fire broke out.
Suspilne reports repeated explosions are sounding across the city. Later, Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed a repeat strike on the Industrialnyi District.
Earlier on Oct. 24, the Air Force reported that Russia used 128 UAVs against Ukraine overnight; 72 of them were neutralized. In particular, Russia attacked energy infrastructure in Kirovohrad Oblast. Ukrzaliznytsia reported train delays in three oblasts due to the attacks.
