Massive Russian drone attack on Odesa Oblast sparks warehouse blaze

Russian occupation forces launched a mass drone attack on Odesa Oblast overnight, hitting an infrastructure facility, local governor Oleh Kiper reported on Dec. 10.

The attack led to no casualties, but an infrastructure facility was hit.

He specified that most of the UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces.

Localized destruction occurred, followed by a fire in a warehouse building over a small area. The fire has been extinguished.

"Critical infrastructure continues to operate as normal," Kiper clarified.

Overnight on Dec. 10, Russia attacked Ukraine with 80 strike Shahed, Geran, and other types of UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 50 drones.

In the morning, air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv and several oblasts due to the threat of ballistic missile use from the northeast.

Overnight on Dec. 6, Russian occupation forces attacked civilian infrastructure in Odesa Oblast with Shahed drones, damaging an energy facility. The region experienced disruptions in electricity and heat supply. Critical infrastructure facilities were temporarily switched to generators.
