Russia pounds Dnipro with Shahed drones, damages critical infrastructure

Updated at 9:20 a.m. EET: Three women, aged 52, 56, and 82 were injured in the attack and were hospitalized - the Regional Administration.
In Dnipro, a critical infrastructure facility was hit, sparking a fire. A 52-year-old woman was injured in the attack.
In the Samarivskyi district, infrastructure was also damaged, with reports of fires, destroyed vehicles, an apartment building, an administrative facility, and household structures.
In Nikopol district, a 64-year-old woman sustained injuries following a combined drone and artillery attack.
Railway disruptions
Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) confirmed that Russian forces targeted energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, resulting in train schedule disruptions.
- Train No. 86 (Lviv—Zaporizhzhya) was delayed.
- Train No. 72 (Lviv—Pavlohrad) was rerouted through Synelnykove-2 instead of Samara — Dniprovska.
Backup diesel locomotives are on standby to assist affected trains if needed.
The overnight air raid alert was isssued in multiple oblasts, with explosions heard in Kyiv as air defense systems repelled the attacks.
In Zaporizhzhya, a private house and an administrative building of a critical infrastructure site were damaged in the attack.
