The Ukrainian Air Force warned of drones approaching Znam'yanka from the north at 5:20 a.m. Shortly after, reports emerged of jet-powered drones flying toward Novomyrhorod from the south.
Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv overnight into September 17, with waves of jet-powered drones continuing to strike the capital into the morning. The overnight barrage damaged buildings, offices, and warehouses across the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts, injuring at least 18 people.
