Russian strike hits critical infrastructure in Kropyvnytskyi

Russian forces struck local infrastructure in the central Ukrainian city of Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad Oblast, overnight on September 17, regional governor Andriy Raykovych reported.
More than a dozen explosions shook the city between 5:55 a.m. and 6:18 a.m. local time.
A yellow-level air raid alert was issued in the city at 3:56 a.m.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned of drones approaching Znam'yanka from the north at 5:20 a.m. Shortly after, reports emerged of jet-powered drones flying toward Novomyrhorod from the south.
Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv overnight into September 17, with waves of jet-powered drones continuing to strike the capital into the morning. The overnight barrage damaged buildings, offices, and warehouses across the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts, injuring at least 18 people.
