Moldovan police discover wreckage of suspected Russian Gerbera drone

Bomb technicians from the Moldovan explosives unit identified components characteristic of a Russian Gerbera drone.

Law enforcement agencies noted that this marks the first time a UAV of this specific configuration has been detected in Moldova, specifically highlighting that the aircraft was equipped with a camera in its nose.

Technical teams concluded that the drone hit a tree before falling to the ground and exploding.

Forensic investigators are continuing to examine the wreckage to determine the drone's exact model, manufacturer, and technical specifications, with final identification pending confirmation by specialized laboratory analysis.
