Rescue teams in Kyiv have cleared the aftermath of Russian drone debris that fell on the grounds of a school, the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry reported on March 18.
Firefighters responded quickly, and the fire was promptly extinguished. Experts on explosives from the State Emergency Service (SES) and National Police conducted a thorough inspection of the site.

All students and teachers were in a shelter at the time of the attack.
Shahed drones attack and air raid alert in Kyiv on March 18
A nationwide air raid alert was issued in Kyiv and multiple oblasts due to a drone strike threat early on March 18.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko initially reported that debris had fallen in the Desnianskyi district of the capital. Emergency services headed to the scene. Later, Kyiv Regional Military Administration clarified that drone wreckage landed on the schoolyard in the Desnianskyi district, confirming that all students stayed in shelters during the alarm.
