Woman walking with children killed in Russian strike on Odesa

According to Kiper, the number of people injured in Russia's attack on the evening of July 16 has risen to 10, including minors. Two civilians were killed, including a woman who was walking with her children in a park when the strike occurred. Kiper said the children survived, but their condition remains unknown.

On the evening of July 16, Russia launched a missile strike on Odesa, damaging a three-story residential building and several vehicles and sparking fires.

"Emergency crews continue to deal with the aftermath of the enemy attacks. All relevant services are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting yet another Russian war crime against civilians," Kiper said in an update at 8 a.m. on July 17.

Russia also launched a missile strike on Odesa overnight into July 17. The attack damaged an auto repair shop, where a fire broke out, as well as nearby parked vehicles. Preliminary reports indicated there were no casualties or injuries.
