Drones ignite two vital Transneft oil pumping stations in Russia's Vladimir Oblast

OSINT analysis indicated that smoke is rising above the oil pumping station near Vladimir. The facility is located in the Kameshkovsky district of Vladimir Oblast.

NASA's Firms satellite temperature anomaly tracking service has also detected a fire at this location.

According to Exilenova+, Lobkovo oil pumping station in Vladimir Oblast was also hit. Both stations are part of Transneft's unified system of trunk oil pipelines, ensuring the oil transportation in central Russia oblasts.

Vladimir Oblast governor Alexander Avdeev confirmed fires following UAV strikes "at two infrastructure facilities in the Kameshkovsky and Alexandrovsky districts."

The Vtorovo linear production and dispatch station in Russia's Vladimir Oblast was targeted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on May 24. The station is a crucial hub in the trunk petroleum product pipeline system, supplying fuel to major oil depots around Moscow, SBU reported.

Earlier on June 10, Flamingo missiles struck Cheboksary in Russia's Chuvash Republic, damaging the VNIIR-Progress defense plant.

A fire also broke out at the Kuibyshev oil refinery in Samara, Russia.
