Ukrainian forces take down 62 Russian drones in record night attack

In total, the Air Force reported detecting 145 Russian drones during the night attack.
“On the night of Nov. 10, 2024, the enemy launched a record number of UAVs,” the Defense Forces emphasized.
Throughout the night, Ukrainian forces identified 145 aerial targets, including Shahed-type attack drones and unidentified UAVs. The drones were launched from areas near Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol, Bryansk, and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.
By 9:30 a.m., it was confirmed that 62 enemy drones were shot down across Odesa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Donetsk oblasts.
Another 67 Russian drones went off course and were lost in various regions of Ukraine, while 10 additional UAVs left Ukrainian airspace, heading toward Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.
The military noted that Odesa and other regions were hit during the attack, causing damage to apartment buildings and private properties. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties, and assistance is being provided to those affected.
On the evening of Nov. 9, air raid alerts were issued across several Ukrainian regions as Russian drone attacks unfolded. Explosions were reported in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Odesa.
