Explosions rocked Russia’s Voronezh Oblast as drones targeted two infrastructure facilities, local governor Alexander Gusev wrote late on March 12.

This attack follows a series of escalating drone strikes deep within Russian territory, therefore undermining the security of the country’s key infrastructure.

"A fire broke out at one of the damaged infrastructure facilities," Gusev wrote.

"There were no casualties. Firefighting efforts are ongoing, and emergency services are on-site. Damage to the second infrastructure facility was not confirmed."

The governor did not specify which facilities were hit, but local residents report that the drone strikes targeted gas infrastructure in Oblast.
