Railway Sector
The enemy has launched over 4,700 strikes on Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) since February 2022, damaging nearly 24,000 objects.
Since the beginning of 2025 alone, 266 strikes on rolling stock and railway facilities have been recorded.
Despite the attacks, Kuleba highlighted key achievements in the transport sector:
Maritime Corridor: 173 million tons of cargo have been transported via the sea corridor.
Passenger Traffic: International connections with the EU have grown by 20%.
Modernization: Construction has begun on the first Chop-Uzhhorod European-gauge railway, and an agreement was signed with Alstom (France) to supply 55 electric locomotives.
The report comes just day before Russian terrorists launched another attack on a port in Odesa Oblast (overnight on Feb. 13). The strike killed one person, injured others, and damaged warehouses and cargo wagons.
