Drone attack hits electrical substation in occupied Feodosia, Crimea - video

Following the explosion, local residents reported flickering lights and voltage drops in Simferopol and Sevastopol, alongside total power outages in Kerch and Feodosia.

Representatives of the peninsula's occupation administration have not yet provided information regarding the attack consequences.

Overnight on July 26, drone flights and powerful explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. UAVs were recorded over Feodosia — likely targeting Russian radar positions on Mount Tepe-Oba. Information later emerged regarding a strike on a substation, causing a blackout in the city.

On July 27, the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced that electricity supply restrictions had been introduced in the occupied city.

According to him, the power outages were implemented to prevent a system-wide failure across Crimea's entire energy system.

He added that a special operating mode was introduced at energy facilities, while social infrastructure transitioned to backup power supply schemes.
