6:16 a.m. Media outlets reported about 10 fires following drone hits, with oil tanks at the Tuapse oil refinery likely catching fire.
Astra Telegram channel specifically identified the epicenters of the massive fires based on previously released footage. The channel noted that the Tuapse oil refinery is located within the port. This refinery forms a single production complex with the Tuapse marine terminal and is part of the Rosneft oil company.
5:40 a.m. Russian Krasnodar Krai governor confirmed the attack on the Tuapse port.
"Tuapse suffered another massive drone attack tonight... A fire broke out in the seaport," Russian media quoted him as saying.
2:21 a.m. Strike UAVs hit the Tuapse port and refinery again, sparking a massive fire at the facility, media reported.
Statements about a possible attack by unknown drones appeared in local public groups and Telegram channels.
A massive fire burned for over a day at the Tuapse port the day before. An oil tanker was damaged at that time, and Russian services were unable to fully extinguish the port fire for over 24 hours.
Tuapse oil refinery is part of the Rosneft company and operates under the management of RN-Tuapse Refinery LLC.
It is one of Russia's largest oil refineries specializing in primary oil processing.
