Russian drones strike Ukrainian Army training center

Russian Shahed drones targeted the grounds of one of the of the Ukrainian Ground Forces training centers, the military reported on Telegram on June 24.

Thanks to a comprehensive set of preventive measures, clearly defined safety protocols, and the high level of training of personnel, mass casualties were avoided.

One soldier was injured and has already been transported to a medical facility.

The Ground Forces also stated that enhanced protective measures are now being implemented to safeguard the health and security of personnel in the event of future missile and air attacks.

Command officials urged all military personnel to remain vigilant, follow safety protocols, and strictly adhere to action plans during air raid alerts.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces had struck Dnipro with ballistic missiles. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure and a passenger train traveling from Odesa to Zaporizhzhya. Local authorities confirmed casualties and injuries.

Overnight on June 24, Russia launched 97 drones against Ukraine. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, 78 of them were intercepted by air defenses.

In Kharkiv, at least three impacts were recorded during the night attack. A civilian facility was damaged, and three people were injured.

Russian forces also struck the residential sector of the Verkhnya Syrovatka municipality in Sumy Oblast, killing three civilians, including an 8-year-old boy.
