The US-Ukraine MITS Capital investment group is investing $3.74 million into Ukrainian company Tencore, which develops the multi-functional ground robotic platform TerMIT, Digital Transformation Ministry wrote on July 11.

NV has compiled TerMIT ground robotic platform main technical features.

What is TerMIT?

TerMIT is a high-mobility, tracked ground robotic system designed to perform a wide range of missions: logistics, evacuation, mining and demining, fire support, and more.

It is NATO-standard codified, battlefield-tested, and actively used on the front line.

Technical Specifications:

  • Length: 1.5 m

  • Width: 1.2 m

  • Height: 1.2 m

  • Weight: 280 kg

  • Payload capacity: up to 300 kg

  • Operating time: 12 hours

  • Top speed: 10 km/h

  • Range: 20 km

  • Communication range: 20 km

  • Ground clearance: 300 mm

  • Cost: ₴510,000 UAH (~$13,000)

Communication is provided via a 915 MHz ELRS ground radio station or a digital communication system paired with a UAV-mounted relay.

Key advantage: modularity

The core feature of TerMIT is modularity, allowing rapid reconfiguration for various mission types and easier maintenance.

The available combat modules are:

  • Gyro stabilized turrets for the MK19 grenade launcher
  • Browning M2 machine gun
  • other firearms.

TerMIT can also be equipped with:

  • Up to two mine-laying modules (total capacity: 20 anti-tank mines)

  • Additional batteries to extend range

  • Satellite communication systems

  • Electronic warfare modules (two frequencies)

  • Level 4 ballistic armor.

Enhanced mobility allows the robot to traverse rough terrain, steep inclines, trenches, and various obstacles.
